The Catholic Commission for Social Justice has been asked by Archbishop Jason Gordon to lead this ministry in the Archdiocese and to assist parishes and religious communities in reaching out to communities in need.

ABOUT our
core values

We recognise our duties and obligations to the wider community. We must always respect the dignity of the human person. We value the process of reflection, research and action.

our AMMR outreach programs

Child Friendly Spaces

Child Friendly Spaces (CFSs) provide children of all ages with a safe place where they participate in organized activities to play, socialize, learn, and express themselves as they rebuild their lives. CFSs provides support and protection from physical harm and psychosocial distress.

Alternative Care Program

The Archdiocese has partnered with UNICEF, and works closely with the Children’s Authority to ensure that separated and unaccompanied minors were housed while alternatives were sourced. The goal of the program is to find caring families for unaccompanied migrant children presently in Trinidad and Tobago.
